Champlain Towers South Before Collapse January 2019

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : AirVuz contributor and pilot drone_us brings us this rather haunting drone video of the Champlain Towers in Southern Florida in early 2019, roughly two years before the South Tower of the condominium complex collapsed in the early summer of 2021. The complex is located in Surfside, a community situated a bit north of Miami Beach facing the Atlantic Ocean. The collapse of the 40 year old tower on June 24, which was believed to be caused by unremediated structural deterioration, may have killed over 100 people.
